The german title "über Grenzen" translates to english in two ways: "over borders" and "about borders". This is my diploma.
The work consists of three parts: A typology of borders and guidelines in the public space in the city of Darmstadt (Germany), showing how many an what kind of borders and regulations we face. This collection is just under 500 images. The second part is a demonstration-video, researching the ways we were brought up reacting on those regulations. In the appendix (third part), 21 loosely grouped definitions give hints on possible ways of perceiving the work.
