Given that the city of Patras works as a way station for the immigrants and the refugees, during their passage to Europe, a network of education and employment is proposed, located near the port. The Network includes services that will try to assure a better standard of living for these people. Such services are administrative services, medical care, classes, workshops and laboratories that will help them develop several professional skills. The establishment of some offices where refugees and citizens can work together and learn from each other, is proposed, in order to achieve a higher level of collaboration between these two social groups. Finally, a public library, internet services, an exterior area for concerts, a small theatre, a neutral place of worship and a parking area, are all services provided not only for the refugees, but for the citizens as well.
