The Knot project is made up of four individuals, Alexis, Mark, Natalie and I. We were brought together in 2007 by Daghda Dance Company to investigate the nature of collaboration between 4 different creative disciplines: Quantum Physics, Modern Dance, Fashion Design and Typography.
The backbone of the project was provided by the mathematical theories of Alexis which describe the nature of experience around the Mobius structure of time and space. The outcome was a performance piece that merged all
for creative areas in a highly original spectacle.
My role in the project was to produce animations and promotional material, and to record the process through photography and book design.
The books incorporate the dialogue, theory and ideas of all 4 members of the group, while describing the
dynamics and relationships of everyone involved.
