MKM is an intelligent Structure, which can move not only in two-dimensions but also in three-dimensions. MKM is composed of many micro-structures (cootie catcher: a kind of origami used in fortune-telling games). Every five molecules can form a crystal structure using a specific method. Such crystals can further be connected by the monomers, in order to give rise to the surface. In brief, this complex structure is defined as molecule-crystal-molecule.
No. 448 is the light, which designed on the basis of MKM. It consists of 448 molecules. It exhibits the special characteristics of MKM-the conversion from the flat to the closed space. The PVC membrane is used so that the lamp can be folded easily. This special structure of No. 448 will be more outstanding when shown with light. Furthermore, the interaction of the light and the shadow will enhance the comfortable atmosphere.
