„The beauty of the sin is its moral ugliness.” Manfred Poisel
SALIGIA – The Seven Deadly Sins
The seven deadly sins are a collection of human character traits. Pursuant to the bible the human being withdraws itself with his sinful behaviour from his divine origin and will so be punished by the exclusion from god. Transported to modern interpretation the human veers away from its own human origin.
The seven deadly sins are Superbia (pride), Avaritia (greed), Luxuria (lust), Invidia (envy), Gula (gluttony), Ira (wrath), Acedia (sloth)
Every human being carries the seven deadly sins within itself. We possess them and from time to time we let them shine through, break out or even take unlimited control of ourselves. Every object of the collection SALIGIA is carrier and keeper and thus reflects, criticizes and challenges each sin. The products encourage to excess and so transport, as a synonym, the sinfulness in our daily lives.
