I’m a young and enthusiastic designer with interests in human centered design and sustainable practice. I create meaningful products derived from a strong research, ideation and technical prototyping process. I’m looking for an opportunity to work with new people while learning and developing new skills in a challenging and creative environment.

‘Bike Light’ helps cyclists feel more confident on the road. ‘Bike Light’ is an LED dot matrix, where the cyclist can design and download their personalised graphics, animations or phrases to use for their rear light. For new cyclists it can be hard to feel confident sharing space with cars on the road. ‘Bike Light’ is addressing the relationship between cyclist and driver, and is designed to challenge the eye of the driver and to put cycle safety products in a different context. Bike Light is milled out from one solid piece of aluminium, which encloses the 8x8 LED dot matrix. The docking bracket is made from ABS plastic, and connects to the bicycles dynamo for power via a USB socket. The light is designed to look at home either on a bike or plugged into your home computer. Bike Light can be programmed with still graphics, animations or words and phrases via web-based software. Here you can exchange designs through an online community, posting them on networking sites like Facebook, Twitter or Flickr.
