Orchid Hunters Unite is a guide for finding rare orchids using analog and low tech as visual languages. The guide is a collection of abstracted images of orchids for the reader to hunt through and experience as an orchid being zoomed in and out of. Each page in the book has music sheets inserted into the pages printed on different paper stock and on a lighter colored paper to create a contrast that will be discovered as the reader thumbs through the book. An additional component is a newsletter in the form of a music sheet, the music notes are words/messages punched in and can be played on the orchid hunter call box that can be worn as a belt while hunting. The newsletter contains hidden information to help the hunter find specific fictional orchids that are described on the music sheets in the guide.
