This project consists of an indoor installation inside the exhibition, of several outdoor installations in the urban space and of a downloadable software that connects itself to the server inside the exhibition. This project turns a disregarded everyday phenomenon (an error) into a separate esthetic phenomenon.
The initial point of this project is a defective ans pulsatile flickering house lamp. A light sensor reads-out the flickering signal of this lamp and generates the ur-signal. A microcontroller sends this signal to a server´and it sends this signal to all connected lamps and light controllers. The server synchronizes all connected lamps. The ur-error gets reproduced in a mass and synchronous way.
Every visitor can take part in this process by downloading a little software from the project website. This program is connected to the exhibition-server and your display gets synchronized with all flickering lamps in the city.
