SIPURION
I developed my concept study SIPURION in cooperation with the Siemens AG and it is based on Siemens Technology. SIPURION is a mobile water purificator that uses membrane technology and active carbon to extract most of the pathogens out of polluted water.
The white shell consists of three identical parts that are used as a stabile tripod construction in work mode. The small number of parts and the rugged design are optimized for comfortable and safe transport and rapid installation. Since the SIPURION is a modular system it can be used with a foot-operated pump or with an electrical pump – depending on which area the SIPURION is used in. It’s also possible to connect the SIPURION to a gravitation system.
The purificator is designed to supply at least 200 persons for a period of maximal 6 months with fresh, potable water. SIPURION is meant to be used after catastrophies such as earthquakes or tsunamies when there is no access to potable water.
