The first idea was formed, when I realised the importance of native language in my life. By using my language I am expressing who and what I am. The way of using it, creates an image of myself and is part of my identity.
My voice gives it an additional uniqueness, my script an image.
My ambition was on one hand to find a possibility to visualise this »language identity«, but on the other hand to create a way to show and experience the fascination, which I feel in association with the subject language.
The primary material of my work are two short texts of »Brecht« that were read and written by six persons.
One result is a »Soundanimation« originated and composed by the special characters of each voice to accentuate the voices uniqueness.
The graphical analysis is based on simple forms of handwriting to get a multitude of different elements and pictures, developing portraits and extraordinary images of each voice and person.
The »Score« implies all particular elements and unites sound and visualisation.
