We had to do a brand redesign in our main graphic design class. The brand I received was MOCA. I wanted to create something that looked very exciting and contemporary. I created a logotype that felt wide and open and gave it a sort of structure. For the accompanying mark I used the M from the logotype, which I felt was strong enough to exist as a mark. The M is then played out in two different ways in the collateral. The buck slip and business card keep the shape of the M at the top.
