The "House of Peruvian Pisco" project, has the intention of coming up with a building that proposes architectonic solutions which optimize the production stages required in the pisco industry, being these stages and their final outcome a part of an attractive touristic route. Both functions will coexist in a single space without obstructing each other. This is the challenge.
In order to come up with the proposal, an analysis of the site and surroundings was essential. The project is, ideally, located in Ica. It is known for its numerous pisco wineries and grape fields, as well as for being in the central axis of the "Pisco Route". This is the site´s context, located in the district of Guadalupe, Ica. Giving all these factors, it became important for the complex to relate itself with the context. This is achieved by maintaining an adequate distance from the highway and enforcing the relation with the grape fields, needed for production as well as touristic interaction.
