Our everyday life is hectic and confusing. Our schedules are full of appointements and we are always on the run. A lot of people experience nature by means of digital media or TV screens rather than enjoying it with all their senses. For my degree thesis I tried to reopen myself to nature, especially to the forest. I tried to look at the forest with the astonished eyes of a child and to really let all the impressions sink in on me. I developed different principles for creative work and process, reflecting the observations and the experiments I made. My work „Welcome to the Woods“ consists of a book and 15 posters.
