If Siegfried Giedion was still amongst us, would he still write that "despite a seeming confusion, a true unity, though unconscious, a secret synthesis lies in our current society"? Should he succeed to find the words to describe the Zeitgeist of our time?
The models presented here are the practical demonstration of an essay presenting 4 major currents of the 40 past years: late-modernism, deconstructivism, post-modernism and radical architecture. To do so, the same program (a museum for the Prouvé family) is done 4 times on the same site, according to the criteria and references of these 4 currents. Each project (excepted the post-modernism one) has 2 models: a mass study model and a section model.
The last piece of this project is a video of interviews of famous architects, which permits to understand more precisely what could be called the spirit of the time.
