The concept of the Sanctuary Cafe is simply Nature. Using uncontrolled repetition of the growth of nature, a pattern is formed. The element formed within the space is inspired by the 4 elements of nature. Water, Earth, Wind and Fire.

Wall element: The wood inspired wall acts as a lighting filter, representing the congested trees in the forest, whereby it only allows little light to pass through. This helps to control the amount of light intended in the space, highlighting the important space at the end of the shop house. This allows users experience an element of surprise.

Featured green element: Taking advantage of the storm water that will fall on the top of the shop house, water is collected and being brought down to the pond through hidden pipes, at the same time helping to water the plants. As the water flows to the pond which has a pump, water is filtered and being brought back to the top of the shop house, and is being reused again.
