This was my first project in architectural design. We were asked to explore the spatial possibilities of a 50x70cm piece of paper - folding, scoring, twisting, cutting, bending it to create space. Anything was allowed as long as the paper stayed in one piece.

There was no scale or specific function at this point. Pure experimentation.

Once we decided on our 'favourite' model, we then had to adjust it to suit the spatial requirements of a dwelling for one person.

Circulation, public/private space, visibility - all these concepts had to be taken into consideration.
