As my final major branding project at university I chose to re brand the internationally renowned school for contemporary circus, The Circus Space.
The Circus Space is the UK’s only institution, which provides a BA Hons in Circus Art. The Circus Space is based in an incredible old Victorian Power Station at the heart of Shoreditch, one of London’s trendiest boroughs.
The Circus Space branding seamed a little dated and messy not making the school justice. My answer was to keep it simple and consistent, allowing the powerful circus imagery to speak for it self and keeping a tight colour grid system. The logo was built making reference to the construction of the Circus Space building itself, a mix of tradition and contemporary as the very foundation for the school.
