year of making
CLAUS™ is the first project presented by Slowtech Factory™ and discusses questions like, how do we deal with a world full of constantlymation work within the media flood? What remains after closing the browser? How do we share and how can we preserve our knowledge outside the internet? And what happens when obsolete technology meets new media?
CLAUS™ is an acronym for (Community Loaded Archive For Url Sharing)™. By entering an URL the participants give life to the machine, which then starts printing pictures and meta-data of the entered websites on four dot-matrixprinters. Participants are meant to take printed copies of th changing and new information? What sticks in our minds in times of information overload? How does acquisition of infore continous copy paper from the machine and share them with others so that the information is widely spread outside the digital world.
