Understanding Shakespeare explores the use of computational tools to extract and visualize information from dramatic texts.
Based on data from the WordHoard project, a comprehensive linguistic database from the Northwestern University, five approaches were designed to create new and insightful views onto the works of William Shakespeare.
This BA thesis project was realized and presented at the Interfacedesign program of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam as large scale prints and in book form using Processing & toxiclibs.
