The forest panorama has been my BA project majoring in illustration.
The pencil drawing measures originally 4.2m x 1m.
It shows with precision the complexity of nature and depicts literally every single leaf or branch of a tree in a forest scene.
It develops a certain black and white abstraction but doesn't get carried away in plain naturalism.
It has a strong mesmerizing effect from close view as well as from afar.
In the final reproduction, the panorama is printed in smaller scale and worked into a leporello fold, thus ensuring to look at it page by page or as a fold-out panoramic view.
