As a dog owner I walk everyday outdoors, in all winds and weathers, all year round. Always with me is a ball. While this ball whirred through the air it occurred to me, what would it look like "up there"?
MY IDEA WAS TO CAPTURE THESE STILL UNDISCOVERED WORLDS OF IMAGES AND TO MAKE THEM THE BASIS OF MY WORK - PHOTOGRAPHY IN ACTION.
The camera would have to immerse into the scenery by itself, be a part of the movement itself and to be robust enough to resist crushes and atmospheric conditions. Of course one should not have to bother about triggering and taking the photo.
My diploma thesis deals with the following two aspects: with the construction of a camera which meets the above-mentioned requirements on the one hand, on the other hand with the creation of a general-interest-magazine which is able to transport the captured emotions.
As a basis I developed a ball which is equipped with a high-speed-digital-camera. Its escapement starts by chance.
