At all times, the northern Europeans had been precursers: At the beginning of the last millenium, the Vikings cruised the oceans. Today their system furniture are decorating every european living room. According to the PISA-study, they are the most intelligent people worldwide. But what would be Europe without: Volvo, Lego, Nokia, wild salmon and ABBA?
A german design student set a goal on answering these questions. In a four week roadtrip through northern Europe, he visited 30 design agencies in 30 days, to collect all these experiences in a book about Scandinavian graphic design.
The book provides an insight into northern agency life and forms a reference book about their work, especially for central european designers and people who would like to work and live in Scandinavia.
